FREELAND, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced this week that six Adrian College athletic teams earned the MIAA Team Grade-Point Average Award for the 2017-18 academic year.
The Bulldog programs earning the award were: women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, women’s tennis, women’s lacrosse, softball, and men’s tennis. Teams must have a 3.30 out of 4.00 GPA or better for the academic year to qualify for the award.
Of the 92 total teams earning the award, only four earned higher than a 3.70 mark, with Adrian’s women’s soccer being one of those programs.
