ADRIAN, Mich.--The Bulldogs did all their scoring in the game’s first two periods on Friday, earning a 7-0 matinee win over the Hamilton Hawks at Arrington Ice Arena. Olivia Ziemba scored two goals and five other Bulldogs added single goals in the contest for Adrian.
Kaillie Hardy opened the scoring in the first period and Ziemba added her first goal to make the score 2-0 after 20 minutes.
It was all Bulldogs in the second period, however, as Meagan Coleman, Nicole Paradis, Kyleen Wilson, Ziemba and Danica Polson all got the names on the scoresheet to round out the scoring before a scoreless third period.
Britt Lavasseur had three assists on the afternoon to bolster the Adrian attack.
Adrian outshot the Hawks by an impressive 59-5 margin on the afternoon. The game concludes the exhibition season for the Bulldogs, who open the regular season at home next weekend with game on Saturday and Sunday against UMass-Amherst starting at 7 pm on Saturday and 2 pm on Sunday.
