ADRIAN, Mich.--The Bulldogs' sophomore forward Matthew Schwehr and junior defender Nicholas Goettel each scored a pair of goals on Friday as #3 Adrian continued their winning ways with a 4-1 win over Indiana Tech on Friday at Arrington Ice Arena.
The Bulldogs, who had seen their 7 game winning streak broken in overtime 3-2 last weekend at Stoney Brook, scored first on Schwehr's 2nd goal of the year before Goettel made the score 2-0 with a power play goal, his third of the season.
The warriors would gain proximity with Brian Skillcom's second of the season, but Goettel would score again to cap a wild first period with a 3-1 Bulldog lead.
The game would then remain scoreless until Schwehr scored his second of the night to make the final 4-1.
Junior Matt Schnoes picked up his 5th win of the year in goal for Adrian, making 24 saves on the evening while Chet Tooker made 20 stops for Indiana Tech.
The two teams will face off again Saturday in Ft. Wayne.
