Sophomore Jordan Davis races in NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships; Doesn't Qualify for 110-meter Hurdles Final

GENEVA, Ohio - Adrian College's Jordan Davis raced in the 110-meter hurdles preliminaries in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships.

The sophomore from Ottawa Lake, Michigan finished the race in 18th with a time of 16.31. The top nine racers in the preliminary race qualified for the finals in the event.

This was the first time in Davis's career that he qualified for the NCAA DIII Championship. He qualified for the event with his 14.48-second finish in the 110-meter hurdles at North Central last weekend.

Prior to the NCAA Championship, Davis won an MIAA outdoor championship in the 110-meter hurdle event along with two-second place finishes in the high jump and 200-meter dash at the conference event.
