HOW IT HAPPENED
= Wabash got all the runs it would need in the top of the second inning when Matthew Annee hit a leadoff single to left center field and would eventually come around to score on a bloop single down the right field line by Henry Wannemuehler.

= The Little Giants got three insurance runs in the ninth. Bryce Aldridge doubled to right center that plated two runs for the key hit.

= Adrian continued to battle in the bottom half when junior Dugan Darnell was hit by a pitch and pinch-hitter Chad Paddock walked after one out. Enter Moffett who got junior Justin McMann to strikeout and senior Frank Resto to ground into a fielder's choice to end the game.

= The Bulldogs had the first golden scoring opportunity in the first inning. After a pop-up, Rainey and Wood hit back-to-back singles. After Hayes lifted a flyball to right field, Rainey tagged and advanced to third base. Wood then stole second. But the Little Giants were able to escape the jam on a called strike three.

= Adrian left the bases loaded in the seventh after two outs.

= Wabash outhit Adrian 10 to three and the Bulldogs left eight runners on base.
