HOW IT HAPPENED
= With the teams tied 1-1 in the second period, Christianson scored the go-ahead goal 7 minutes and 41 seconds in and an insurance tally about 5 minutes later.
= Yim put Adrian in the lead at the 3:38 mark of the opening stanza, beating Woodman from the right face-off circle on a feed from Boyd.

= After Dunn scored on the power-play in the third period to close within 3-2, the Bulldogs continued to mount pressure on the MSOE goal. Adrian freshman Scott Clark hit the pipe with about 9 minutes remaining.

= MSOE scored two power-play markers while Adrian was 1-for-7 with the man-advantage.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Adrian College president Dr. Jeffrey R. Docking was honored with the ceremonial puckdrop before the opening face-off. It was Dr. Docking's vision that built one of the finest on-campus NCAA Division III ice arenas in the nation, seeing the Bulldogs' program rise to consistent prominence since their inception in 2007-08.
= MSOE defeated Adrian for only the fifth time in the 37-game series. Tonight marked the Raiders' first win in Adrian since the 2012 Harris Cup championship (4-3 in overtime)--a span of seven games.
= The Bulldogs are now 8-2 all-time in both season and home openers, including 2-1 under Coach Adam Krug '12.
= The teams will meet here again at 3:05 p.m. Saturday to conclude their first series of 2016-17. Saturday, there will be a Halloween costume contest for children ages 16-and-under, with prizes awarded for the three best costumes. For details, please click here for more information.
