TOP 'DAWGS
= Senior Austin Hervey and junior alternate captain Taylor McCloy lit the lamp for the Bulldogs.

= Sophomore goalie Kevin Entmaa made 16 saves.

= Classmate Bryan Yim won 12 of 20 face-offs and freshman Matt McNair was 7-for-10.

THE OPPOSITION
= Noah Nelson and Jeremy Olinyk both had a goal and an assist to lead the Green Knights' offense.

= T.J. Black improved to 10-0-1 and finished with 45 stops in goal.

= Riley Christensen chipped in two assists.

Steven Phillips won 12 face-offs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Phillips scored the game-winning goal midway through the third period, collecting a loose puck after Entmaa tried to poke-check it away from danger, to put the Green Knights up 3-2.

= Olinyk added an empty-net goal for insurance with 52 seconds remaining in the contest, as Adrian pulled its goalie in favor of an extra attacker to try to get the equalizer.

= Adrian peppered the SNC goal with 47 shots, scoring two straight tallies after falling behind 2-0.

= Nelson and Tanner Froese staked the Green Knights to a two-goal advantage before McCloy answered 31 seconds after Froese to cut the deficit to 2-1 at 16:02 into the second period. Juniors Austin Rust and Mathew Thompson were credited with assists.

= Hervey tied it 2-all 3:49 into the third period with the Bulldogs killing off a penalty. Adrian sent the puck into SNC's defensive zone with Yim stealing a clear attempt along the right boards, then sending a rinkwide pass to junior blueliner Michael Hoy who had a slap shot stopped by Black from the left face-off circle. A Green Knight defender briefly picked up the rebound and started to go behind his net when he lost control, and Hervey was waiting at the right post to slam home his sixth goal of the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= With the win, SNC takes a 7-6 edge in the all-time series.

= St. Norbert becomes the first visiting team to sweep the Bulldogs in a two-game series at Arrington.

= Hervey's short-handed goal today was the first of his Bulldogs career. On Thursday, he was named one of 15 semifinalists--one of only two Division III candidates--from an original pool of 75-plus for the 2017 BNY Mellon Wealth Management Hockey Humanitarian Award.

= The Green Knights are 114-21-8 all-time when ranked No. 1 in the USCHO.com poll.

= St. Norbert has won six games in a row while Adrian loses back-to-back conference games for the first time ever in its 10-year history.

= Since starting the program for the 2007-08 campaign, Adrian is 169-11-10 all-time in league play for a NCHA-best .916 winning percentage.
