ROYAL OAK, Mich. – Defending champion Adrian College has been picked as the preseason favorite to win the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's lacrosse championship.
The Bulldogs, who won the first MIAA championship last spring with a perfect 6-0 league record and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III tournament, received six out of a possible seven first-place votes in the poll of the league's coaches. Albion, which received the other first-place vote, is picked to finish second.

Head Coach Don LaSala returns for his third season at the helm of the men's lacrosse program. The Bulldogs will open the season on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at Aurora and their first home game will be Saturday, Mar. 8 against Augustana (Ill.).
