Bulldogs Remain Unbeaten in MIAA with 19-4 Win over Alma

ADRIAN, Mich. - The men's lacrosse team continued its unbeaten streak in the MIAA on Saturday afternoon with a 19-4 win over visiting Alma College at Docking Stadium. The Bulldogs (8-3, 3-0) scored the game's first seven goals and scored eight times in the third quarter alone en route to the lopsided victory.
Eric Fannell, Doug Boyd and Clayton Warren each scored four times for Adrian who tied their season high with 19 goals. Mitch Burgin and Nick Karapas found the back of the net twice for the Bulldogs. Brendan Harvey, Drake Dailey-Chwalibog and Bobby Green each added one goal to the cause.
Burgin, Fannell and Harvey each had two assists while Boyd, Dailey-Chwalibog and Karapas each had one assist. Adrian had 51 total shots compared to 17 for the Scots. Adrian also had a 33-19 edge in ground balls and won 15-of-27 in the faceoff circle. Kevin Lerg made five saves in net playing 52:36. Brett Farrelly finished the final 7:24 and made three saves.
