NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Bulldogs continued their dominant start in the MIAA Saturday afternoon as they took down St. Mary's 20-5. Adrian scored the first 12 goals of the game as they advanced to 6-5 overall and 4-0 in the MIAA.
The Bulldogs came out fast and did not look back as they scored the first 12 goals of the game and jumped out to a 15-2 halftime lead over the Belles. The Bulldogs used this momentum in the second half as they scored the first five goals to go up 20-2 as they cruised to a 20-5 win over St. Mary's.
Hannah Early scored six goals and added 7 seven draw controls. Maddie Dugan scored five goals to accompany an assist and Christine Campbell scored three times and added an assist. TaShina Salas had three goals and Brianna Plester had one goal and compiled 10 draw controls. Sarah Connelly and Nicole Laflamme each tallied a goal.
Jul Tehovnik (6-5) earned the win as she made six saves and recorded one ground ball.
The Bulldogs will see action again Wednesday, April 16 when they travel to Hope College for a 6 p.m. start.
