ORLANDO, Fla. – The Adrian College women's team fell 6-0 in a rain-shortened match to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Monday, March 4 as part of the Bulldogs' spring break trip.

RPI made short work of the doubles matches, winning 8-1, 8-2, and 8-0 to take a 3-0 lead into singles play. The Engineers continued to win in the singles matches, taking the first set of each match 6-0, except for the five spot, where junior Makayla Jorgensen was able to take a set.

Only three of the singles matches were able to finish before rain forced a stoppage of play for the evening. Junior Samantha Cyrus was tied 2-2 in second set of the top singles flight when play was called.

The Bulldogs are back in action again on Tuesday, March 5 when they play Wentworth at 7 p.m.
