ADRIAN, Mich.--Adrian College Athletics, in conjunction with the National Collegiate Athletic Association, helps present a series of educational videos that best illustrates rules changes in men's basketball this season.
As a proud and successful member of the NCAA, we strive for the Division III ideals of Discover, Develop and Dedicate. In addition, we are honored to share this community outreach program to our fans and media members who follow the Bulldogs. A big theme this season is to reduce physical play and create freedom of movement.
We invite you to familiarize yourself with these new rules by watching the videos.
We are now a month into conference play and we want to make sure to continue our outreach on some of the new rules. Please see the link below to a six-minute fan/media video that highlights the changes in the 10-second backcourt count, a new mechanic for a shortened timeout and a new signal for when a player voluntarily runs out of bounds on their own volition to gain an advantage.
