ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College men's basketball team traveled to Albion College for MIAA conference play. The Bulldogs lost 84-62 and brought their conference record to 1-4. Robert Warrick led Adrian on offence with 16 points and six rebounds and Jeremy Kalonji finished with 14 points and six rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bulldogs went down early by a score of 8-2, but Robert Warrick hit a three-point jumper to make it 8-5. Albion followed up with an 11-0 run to take a 19-5 lead. Warrick scored the next eight Adrian points to bring the game to within seven. Trailing 29-18, Jordan Harris hit a three to bring the Albion deficit to eight. Albion finished the half on a 9-0 run to lead 45-27 at halftime.
Albion scored the first points of the second half to start with a 20-point lead. Adrian scored six points through the first seven minutes of the half when Trey Helinski nailed a shot from deep to bring the Albion lead to 62-36. After a three-point basket by Albion, they jumped out to a 32-point lead to make it their largest of the night.
The Bulldogs trailed 86-52 when Nolan Ansara hit a deep jumper followed up by a made free throw from Kendall Bellamy and a three-pointer from Tyler Gillery. Adrian finished the game on a 10-0 run to bring the final score to 84-62 in favor of Albion.
The Bulldogs look to snap their three-game losing streak on Saturday, January 25 when they will host Olivet at 3:00 PM.
