FREELAND, Mich. - Adrian College women's soccer sophomore Caroline Fleming was named the Michigan Intercollege Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week by the league office on Monday.
Fleming led the Bulldogs in a 4-0 win over Trine by scoring one goal and recording a game-high four shots on goal. She followed up that performance by scoring the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win at Albion to end her week.
The Grosse Ile, Michigan native is currently leading Adrian with 21 points (7 goals, 7 assists). Her season assist total also leads the team and her goal total is third.
This is the third MIAA player of the week award won by a Bulldog women's soccer player this year--Fleming has earned two of the three.
Adrian travels to face Olivet in a conference game on Saturday, October 21. Kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m., ET.
